Profile:
Former Treasurer and 1st team skipper, Goody returned to the club having spent a year travelling and getting married. A hard as nails Geordie, with a passion for the game plus the odd beer or twenty (in recent years refined to being red wine), while being away, Goody found that his former fitness was hard to maintain. Having to be on his toes with the promise of younger players joining the club, Goody was keen to show how fit he really was at one notorious pre season training session. He insisted on doing double the exercises of everyone else, and ended up throwing up in a bush. However, Goody can always add some grit and determination to either club side, plus if an opposition player starts throwing their weight around, you can guarantee they will find out how hard he can tackle.
