Profile:
Spencer joined the Old Boys in 2009-10 through his workmate Neil Clark, and quickly establised himself as a regular in the Old Boys Reserve side, as well as breaking into the 1sts on a few occasions. Such was his joy at joining such a prestigious club, he quickly volunteered to take on the Reserve team captaincy the following season (nothing to do with him being absent from the AGM and therefore unable to object to his nomination). Spence took on the role with his own style and gusto, confusing the team with his American terms like "soccer", but driving them on with shouts of "let's kick some ass, f*ckin yeah!" Never the shy or retiring type, Spence also introduced the club to his own take on fashion, including some never-to-be-forgotten salmon pink trousers and a hairstyle which changed weekly. Like several of the other players, Spencer is regularly supported by his "WAG", but broke new ground last season by not only having his Mum watch him at a game, but also bringing her to the post match social up the pub.
