Player Profile:
One of the longest serving players at the club having been part of the era of Moscrop, Reeve et al, Nick remains the club's first choice goalkeeper after all this time, due to his consistency, lack of major injury problems (except perhaps a dodgy ankle which prevents him taking goal kicks), and the fact that no other goalkeeper has hung around long enough to displace him. While a lot of players from his era have retired gracefully (or been forced to by wives/girlfriends/growing families), Nick remains an active member of the club, whether that be losing money at the races or having his mental strength tested by Rob Sutton at the Annual Old Boys Golf Day which Nick has organised superbly for the past three years.
